This vintage postcard shows the main building of the Northwestern Branch of National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers, opened in Milwaukee (Wood) in 1867
How fascinating! I read several of your post and how facinating that you are finding all of this information. I would love to research my family some day!
Hi! I'm so happy you've stopped by for a visit. I'm Gerry. Mid-Missouri has been home for the past twenty+ years for me and my husband.
Before moving the the mid-west, southern California, Arizona, and for a time, Saudi Arabia was home.
Almost all were in desert areas.
I enjoy mid-Missouri for it's four seasons.
Quilting, knitting, crocheting, reading, blogging, organizing and re-organizing keeping me jumping from one to the other as the mood strikes.
Your visits and Comments are what keeps me blogging.
